Global Neighbours Award
We have been awarded the Global Neighbours (Bronze) award in recognition of our school’s work to encourage our children to think of others throughout the world.
The accreditation programme celebrates Sleights for helping pupils learn about global poverty and the Christian responsibility to tackle it, as well as giving the children the tools to play a confident part in creating a fairer world.

Healthy Schools Award
We have been awarded the Bronze Healthy Schools Award in recognition of our commitment to promoting active lifestyles and living well.

Music Mark Award
Awarded in recognition for the school’s commitment to music. This includes the school’s music curriculum, alongside a wide range of instrument lessons for individuals and full classes.

National Online Safety Certified School Award
Awarded in recognition for our school’s work to promote and develop understanding relating to online safety. This includes regular training for children, staff and awareness for families. This has been awarded for three consecutive years.

Sports Mark Award – Silver Award
Awarded in recognition for our school’s ongoing commitment to promoting and engaging on physical activity and competitive sport.

Hedgehog Friendly School
Awarded at Silver Level. This was awarded based on the children’s work to raise awareness and understanding about how to keep hedgehogs safe. This work included writing to the community, raising awareness in school and carrying out work on the site to make it more hedgehog friendly.
